I'm often guilty of falling asleep with the TV remote tucked under my person. It's not a control thing or the fact that it’s good to have fingertip entertainment always close to hand. It's because there are far too many buttons on the remote for a woman to fully appreciate. With cable and satellite and the ever increasing number of channels, I’m sure you will agree.
But women love to press buttons. They are fascinated with them. Perhaps, it's their colour (color for women in the US)? Or maybe, it's the feel of the plastic under their thumbs.
Whatever the reason, we men must learn to relinquish them on occasion. This is especially important, when we are at our most vulnerable, after a few drinks, for example.
If she cannot find the remote, she will look for another source of thumbing entertainment. Keeping a supply of bubble wrap is sometimes the answer. However, if you do fall asleep on your TV remote, never leave a camera within easy reach of her grasp. The results can be catastrophic. Unlike the TV remote, with a camera, women only need to understand one button.
